Dr. Charles Parker, a veterinarian, had a love for people of different backgrounds. He carried a pad of paper with him to write down the names and encouraging words of those that impacted him. Parker lived his life by being generous to those who were truly deserving.

Out of his concern for others grew CrossLites, an organization established to communicate Dr. Parker’s message by way of developing a sense of society among people who care deeply for one another. CrossLites has sponsored many different activities that not only communicate this message but also demonstrate it.

Past Events that CrossLites sponsored include Universal’s Rock the Universe, Relay for Life, Coalition for Homeless, and The Favela Project. 

CrossLites aims to provide nourishment for individuals through inspirational messages and Biblical principles.

Dr. Certo is an internationally renowned business author and scholar.  The ideas he provides through CrossLites reflect his varied experiences as an MBA professor, church elder, business owner, husband, and father. Business textbooks he has written focus on areas like management, supervision, and strategic management.  His textbooks have been translated into languages like Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese for distribution around the globe.

Dr. Certo’s professional focus over the last few decades has evolved into teaching, studying, and writing to help others meet everyday life challenges. He advocates that applying both business and Biblical principles together is the best way to meet them.  This method for meeting life challenges is clearly explained in his book “Chasing Wisdom:  Finding Everyday Leadership in Business and Life”.

As Director of CrossLites, Dr. Certo continues to carry out its mission to use Biblical principles to further introduce encouragement, hope, and success into the lives of others.
